Nurse-directed
center provides care 40 hours/week. Pam Culliton, MSN, ARNP
Consulting Physician, Steven Willey, M.D. provides care for
students at a reduced rate. Dr. Willey is located across the
street in the St. Lukes Hospital, South Medical Building Suite
560.

What: |
Health education,
maintain health records, provide emergency care, treatment of
minor illness/injury referral and resource & confidential care.
|

When: |
Monday – Friday, 8am
– 5pm (or with appointment) Public Safety is available
24hr/7days week for emergency care when nurse is not available.

Services: |
*Registered nurse provides
confidential care, free of charge.
*Maintain student health records. Health Record documentation is
required for all athletes, students living in university housing and
all Health Professional students. It is highly recommended that
all students provide immunization information to the health
center.
*Consulting physician discounts simple office visit and physical
examination for students
*St. Luke's pharmacy gives 10 percent discount on prescriptions.
*Health center can assist with referrals to other local
physicians or health care
providers that are compatible with insurance; offer sliding
scale, reduced cost
or free care whenever possible.
*Assist students with questions about insurance or other health
care needs.

*PPD Tuberculin
testing - Free
*Provide FREE Hepatitis A, B & A/B vaccine
for at risk individuals
*Allergy injections (with express written consent of physician)

*Confidential HIV blood testing - Free (not part of your
health record) Confidential! Safe, 99+ accurate, anonymous
testing site information available
*Flu vaccine at reduced cost available in the Fall
*CPR and first aid certification classes several times annually
(there is a charge)
*Blood Borne Pathogen training
*Simple lab testing or screening (Urine test, pregnancy test,
blood pressure, Tb test)
*Provide some over the counter medications - Free
*Referral for alcohol or drug concerns
*Educational materials available for personal use or for
class project. There are tapes, videos, pamphlets, displays,
handouts, free give-aways! Enhance your understanding or your
presentation with these resources.
